Editor's Note: The following policy is one way of addressing waterbeds. Like all policies, it should vary with the specifics of the environment in which it is applied. Start with this, and make changes according to your own development.Waterbeds can cause serious damage to buildings. For this reason, no Member may have a waterbed at the Co-op. The Board may grant exceptions to this rule for waterbeds that meet the following criteria: Waterbeds must be of standard commercial manufacture and have flawless liners installed. Installation must be accomplished by a fully knowledgeable resident or a professional. Waterbed owners must carry adequate liability insurance for water damage. |
